Benidorm, located on the Costa Blanca in Spain, is known as a city of skyscrapers, endless beaches and vibrant nightlife. But even if you only have one day to explore this unique city, you will be able to experience its unique atmosphere and see the most iconic places. We present you the perfect route for a day trip to Benidorm.

Morning: Beaches and Old Town
Start your day early in the morning to enjoy the tranquility and beauty of the beaches of Benidorm. The city is famous for its two main beaches, Levante and Poniente, separated by a rocky promontory with a Mediterranean balcony.
The Levante Beach (Playa de Levante) is the busiest and most popular beach, stretching for 2 kilometers. There is always a lot of life here, and along the embankment there are numerous cafes, bars and shops.

Playa de Poniente, on the other hand, is more peaceful and suitable for those who seek solitude. It stretches for more than 3 kilometers and also has a beautiful promenade, ideal for a morning walk or jog.
We suggest starting with a walk along the Levante beach. Walk barefoot on the soft sand, enjoy the fresh sea breeze and watch the city wake up. You will be able to see how the first rays of the sun illuminate high-rise buildings, creating a unique urban landscape.

After a refreshing walk, head to the Old Town of Benidorm. This is a real contrast to modern skyscrapers. Narrow cobbled streets, white houses with flower pots, cozy squares – all this creates the atmosphere of a traditional Spanish village.
The main attraction of the Old Town is the Church of St. Jaime and St. Anna (Iglesia de San Jaime y Santa Ana). This beautiful church with blue domes is located on top of a cliff with stunning sea views. Be sure to go up to the observation deck known as the Balcón del Mediterraneo
