About the Founder
Hello! My name is Mikhail, and I am the founder of SagradaTravel.
My travel journey began in 2013 with a trip to Barcelona. It was there that I first saw the Sagrada Familia — the place that later inspired the name of this project. After that trip, I started planning my travels on my own: creating itineraries, discovering unique places, exploring cities, and finding locations that rarely appear in standard tourist guides. Over the years, I realized a simple truth: the most memorable experiences come not from checking off landmarks, but from the people, stories, and places that reveal the true character of a destination. Later, I worked as a tour guide and studied travel route planning, which helped me better understand what travelers expect from tours and holidays. This experience allowed me to see the travel industry from both sides — as a traveler and as someone helping others discover new places.
Why SagradaTravel Was Created
While planning my own trips, I constantly faced the same problem: finding quality tours and local guides took far too much time. I had to browse dozens of websites, compare offers, read reviews, and verify information. That is when the idea emerged — to create a platform where travelers could easily find tours, travel routes, and local guides all in one place. That is how SagradaTravel was born.
Travel Is Part of Our Life
Most of our trips are family adventures. Together with my wife and son, I continue exploring new destinations and planning our journeys independently.
This experience helps me better understand the needs of different travelers: families with children, couples, solo travelers, and anyone who wants to make the most of their holiday without unnecessary stress.
What Is SagradaTravel?
SagradaTravel is a platform for discovering tours, local guides, and travel routes.
Today, the project is growing in Spain, starting with Alicante and the Costa Blanca region. Our goal is to help travelers find inspiring experiences, discover hidden gems, and explore destinations through the eyes of local people.
